TAIEX Workshop for accreditation of testing laboratories for emission of exhaust gases


The Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of Macedonia (IARM) supported by the TAIEX Instrument in frames of the European Commission, on 9th and 10th December 2015 in the hotel “Arka”, Skopje, organized a workshop for accreditation of testing laboratories for emission of exhaust gases.

The following topics were elaborated on the Workshop:
• Directive 2008/50/EU of the European Parliament and the Council from 21st May 2008, for quality of ambient air and cleaner air in Europe;
• Directive 2010/75/EU of the European Parliament and the Council from 24th November 2010, for industrial emissions;
• The requirements of CEN/TS 15675:2007 and the connection with the requirements of the European Co-operation for Accreditation (EA);
• Assessment of testing laboratories according to the MKC EN ISO 17025:2006 and MKTC CEN/TS 15675:2009.

Lecturers on the Training were M-r Dragica Krizanec from the Croatian Accreditation Body (HAA) and the expert D-r Jurij Cretnik from the RACI organization (Rationalism of Combustion Processes), Slovenia, and participants were lead assessors, technical assessors and experts from the Assessors List of IARM as well as representatives from the conformity assessment bodies.

The Workshop was planned according to the Annual Training Plan of the Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of Macedonia (IARM) for 2015, and the participants received Certificates of attendance.
