Workshop on application of the Standard MKC EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012

In compliance with our Annual Training Plan of the Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of Macedonia (IARM) for 2014, starting from 07th October 2014, a two-day workshop on the application of the new standard MKC EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012 was held, pertaining the accreditation procedures of the certification bodies for products, processes and services.
Namely, subsequent to the expiration of the introduction period with the novelties in the standard and the preparation and adjustment to it, as of 01st July 2014, the IARM has carried out their accreditation procedures for the certification bodies for products, processes and services by following this standard exclusively.
The workshop lecturers were leading assessors from the IARM’s employees, as well as technical assessors, engaged in the accreditation procedures, whereas the participants were leading and technical assessors from the List of Assessors of the IARM.
Separate requirements from the Standard were thoroughly processed, with an emphasis on the novelties and definitions contained in it, its practical application, correlation to the IARM’s working procedures, as well as exchange of experiences and opinions.
The aim of the workshop was to raise the assessors’ competence level, timely information and coordination on practical application of novelties in practice, in accordance with the requirements of the standard.
