Training on “Traceability of Measurement and Calculation of Uncertainty of Measurement in Calibration of Measuring Instruments, by using Reference Gas and Noise Measuring Instruments”

In accordance with the Annual Training Plan of the Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of Macedonia (IARM) for 2013, on 26 February 2013, the IARM organized a training session entitled “Traceability of Measurement and Calculation of Uncertainty of Measurement in Calibration of Measuring Instruments by using Reference Materials and Noise Measuring Instruments”.
Lecturers of the training were: Zoran Grkov, PhD from the Macedonian Institute of Quality and Beti Vukovojac from the Bureau of Metrology.
The target groups of the training were the leading and technical assessors from the List of Assessors of the IARM, whose direct engagement in performing of accreditation assessments demands regular and appropriate knowledge upgrade.
The presentations during the training were aimed at introducing to the attendees, in greater detail, the models and methods of calibration, the calculation of uncertainty of measurement and ensuring traceability by using reference materials as well as the calibration, calculation of uncertainty of measurement and ensuring traceability of noise measuring instruments.
The purpose of the training was to raise the level of competence of the participants, in order to conform to the adequate application of the requirements from the standards during accreditation assessments of the conformity assessment bodies.
At the end of the training, the participants were awarded complementary Certificates.
