une 2010, in the Parliamentary Club, the Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of Macedonia organized a commemorative event celebrating the World Accreditation Day.
This Day represents a global initiative jointly established by IAF – International Accreditation Forum and ILAC – International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation to raise awareness of the importance of accreditation-related activities.
A brief introductory speech by the Deputy President of the Council of IARM, Prof. Cvetan Gavrovski PhD opened the event whereas the Director of the IARM, Trpe Ristoski PhD delivered a presentation of implemented activities of the Institute for the year 2009. Concurrently, in the course of this event, nineteen Accreditation Certificates were granted to the Bodies accredited between the period of 1st April 2009 and 31st May 2010.
In addition to representatives from the accredited bodies, this event was attended by representatives from the ministries, the business sector and other state administration authorities.
