IARM organized a course for Conformity assessment body

IARM organized a three-day course on the following topic “Implementation of the Standard MKS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2006 in testing and calibration laboratories”. The course took place in the Training Center of the IARM, on the period between the 7th and 9th April 2010.

The Course was aimed towards the accreditation bodies, bodies undergoing accreditation procedure, as well as for those authorities that are to apply for accreditation by the IARM. The purpose of the Course was to disseminate knowledge to the participants in the area of implementation of the standard for accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories MKC ISO/IEC 17025, the procedure for accreditation of the IARM, as well as the manner of enforcing assessment and method of work of the IARM. By presenting the topics in the area of measurement traceability, calibration and uncertainty of measurement, the representatives of the Bureau for Metrology gave their invaluable input and enhanced the program of the Course.  
Among the participants were regular employees of the IARM, faculty representatives (Mechanic Engineering Faculty, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine), representatives of already accredited laboratories, as well as representatives of laboratories preparing for accreditation.

At the end of the Course, all attendees were granted an Certificate for attendance.
