Out of the promotional activities we would like to stress the support of the GTZ in the preparation of the new web page of the IARM.
Similarly, the cooperation with the GTZ will continue in the following two years. For this purpose, the IARM, under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy, has signed a new two-year Memorandum of Understanding with the GTZ (2010-2011). The subject of this Memorandum is the implementation of the project for Integration of Technical EU Directives in the area of “Free movement of goods” and “Energy” within the evolving technical cooperation between the Goverments of the Republic of Macedonia and the Federal Republic of Germany. In the area of “Free movement of goods”, the project will generally focus on the implementation of the med-term strategy for the improvement of the quality infrastructure of the Republic of Macedonia along with its components of standardization, accreditation, metrology and market surveillance; or, in particular, for the Institute for Accreditation of the Republic of Macedonia, the project shall include support for the following:
  •   improvement of the regular accreditation processes and procedures mainly by training the Institute’s staff
